Undergraduate accommodation availability

Unlike other universities, colleges typically provide you with a room for more than one year. This is known as 'living in' and can be on the main site, in college annexes, or in houses owned by the college. Almost all accommodationa are very close to the city centre, but a bike can sometimes be useful. About half of colleges require you to 'live out' at some point during your course, giving you the 'real world' experience of renting a house on the private market.

College	Undergraduate accommodation availability
Balliol	First and third years live on the main site. About 30% of second-year students live out, with the other 70% living in Jowett Walk, just a short walk away from College. Postgraduate students are usually housed in Holywell Manor, just 10 minutes away from College.
Brasenose	Provided for whole course (1st year in college, 2nd year in Frewin Annexe, 3rd and 4th year split between the two).
Christ Church	Provided for whole course (almost all rooms on-site; a few in Liddell Building annex)
Corpus Christi	Provided for whole course (first-years on main site; all others live on a number of other sites).
Exeter	All 1st years on main site. 2nd and 4th years typically live out.
Keble	All 3 years have accommodation on the beautiful main site. You can choose to live off site at any time although most decide to stay because the accommodation is so nice.
Lincoln	Lincoln is one of the few Oxford colleges that offers accommodation for all years of your degree! First years live on-site or across Turl Street in Lincoln House, whilst second years will live in the newly refurbished The Mitre which is also located on Turl. Third and fourth years live in the EPA Centre on Museum Road
Magdalen	Provided for whole course (1st year in Waynflete Building, latter years on main college site)
Merton	Provided for whole course: 1st year in college, 2nd year in Holywell Street, latter years split between two
New	Most students live in college, but you do have the option to live out in 3rd and 4th year if you want. 1st and 2nd years live in College (or very close by). Most 3rd and 4th years live in a swanky new building less than a minute’s walk from New College.
Oriel	Provided for whole course (1st and 2nd years in college, latter years in annexe in Cowley)
Queen's	Provided for whole course (rooms are split between the High Street and two annexes in East Oxford)
Regent's Park	Provided for 1st and 3rd years; 2nd years live out. All rooms have shared bathrooms and access to laundry facilities. Finalists are typically accommodated in flats with a kitchen between 2-6 people. Postgraduate students are usually expected to find accommodation in the private sector, as the college can only provide for 8 students to be accommodated off-site at Wellington Square.
Somerville	Provided for the whole duration of your degree.
St Anne's	Provided for whole course (all rooms on single site)
St Hilda's	Provided for 1st and final year; other years live out
St Hugh's	Provided for whole course (all rooms on a single site)
St John's	Unknown
Trinity	Provided for whole course (1st and 2nd years on main site; 3rd and 4th years in North Oxford)
Univ	Currently, Univ offers on site accommodation for your first year and last exam year of undergrad
Wadham	Provided for 1st and 3rd year students; other years normally live out (although can choose to live in college annexe in North Oxford)
Worcester	Undergrads are guaranteed on-site accommodation for the duration of their course, and postgrads for at least their first year at Worcester. More than half the rooms on site are en-suite, and all of them have some access to kitchen and laundry facilities.
